Underground kidnapper’s den discovered in Ojokoro – Lagos

Residents and commuters around Obadeyi bus stop across Ajala in Ojokoro LCDA were thrown into confusion earlier today, Tuesday, August 08, 2017, following the discovery of a canal used by kidnappers to perpetrate evil acts in the area.

InsideMainland gathered that the ‘den’ was discovered by residents after a female LAWMA street sweeper heard a victim screaming for help. The screams attracted the LAWMA officer who called the attention of passerby to check the drainage but didn’t find the victim.

This discovery, however, led to a rush to uncover the strange disappearance of the woman who cried for help.

The residents, however, found two men who were apprehended before checks were conducted around the canal to discover that it links from Obadeyi bus stop to the Ajala in Ojokoro.

As a result, the residents pounced on the suspects setting one ablaze before Police operatives arrived the scene.

Upon his arrest, one of the suspects confessed that “we target pedestrians who ply the road early in the morning and late at night. We drag them into the hole which stretches along the whole road where they are eventually killed.”

The suspects were handed over to the operative from the Alakuko Police Station.

Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA, Hon Hammed Idowu Tijani has visited the crime scene. He was flanked by security operatives and members of his Executive team.
