Just in: Mother of 3 rescued in Agege inferno

Report has it that a mother of three miraculously survived being trapped in a house fire incident that occurred today, August 4, 2017, as a result of fire outbreak in a bungalow building at 11 Morounfolu Street, Otubu bus stop, Agege, Lagos.

It was gathered that the woman had been trapped in the inferno without the knowledge of anyone around, luckily a relative rushed in to raise the alarm about her whereabouts before search and rescue efforts were focused on her room leading to her miraculous rescue.

She was afterwards, taken to an undisclosed hospital by her relative for medical attention

The cause of the fire, however remains unknown as at press time.

Rescue officers of the NEMA, Manufacturer Association of Nigeria (MAN) Fire Service, State Fire Service, Police and LASEMA Fire Service Unit were on the scene in response to distress alerts.
