Two days after a family of five were murdered in their home by the notorious killer group known as Badoo, another family of six have been wiped out by the ritualist group.
The incident occurred in the early hours of today, Tuesday, August 1, 2017.
The victims were killed in their home located in Oke – Ota community, Ibeshe, Ikorodu, the area where the gang attacked over the weekend, a source told InsideMainland.
The situation led to the angry residents staging a protest march to the Palace of the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabir Shotobi.
During the protest, the residents demanded an urgent solution to the incessant killings and a further inquisition into the activities of the notorious gang.
A resident who spoke on condition of anonymity said “we are tired of the killing. We can’t leave our homes because of a faceless gang that commits evil only when it is dark.
“It is high time we put an end to the killings. We believe if the community leaders and monarchs are not influenced, we can get the peace we crave for. We need to have sound sleeps in our various homes.”
Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command yesterday, Monday, July 31, 2017, uncovered a shrine allegedly belonging to the cult group in Agbowa, the outskirts of Ikorodu. During the discovery, the Command found graves dug by the gang and reportedly arrested the owner of the structure, one Alaka Abayomi.
