Mainlanders beware as ‘Oro’ curfew holds in Ikorodu

Motorists and other commuters planning to use parts of Ikorodu community today, Monday, July 24, 2017, should be watchful of their movements as there is currently a curfew in the area.

The traditional chiefs are currently celebrating the annual ‘Liwe Oro’ festival which forbid women from coming out from dusk to dawn.

Residents who spoke to InsideMainland said areas such as Ladega, Ita Elewa, Ajina, Ota-Ona, Aga, among several others are deserted with only the male folks allowed to move freely.

It is pertinent that women who plan to visit Ikorodu at this moment shelve the plans till tomorrow or next to avoid been caught in the curfew.
