In the strongest response yet to rampaging Ikorodu murderous cult gang a.k.a Badoo, a joint raid by the Lagos State Police Rapid Response Squad (RRS) jointly with the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) and Onyabo Vigilante Groups on Saturday, July 1, 2017, led to the arrest of 15 suspects.
InsideMainland gathered from RRS sources that the raid was specifically targeted at the hideout of the notorious cult group, along Ibeshe, Itamaga, Ijede, Ipakodo and other parts of Ikorodu.
The raid was in connection to the recent meeting between the Comissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, Ikorodu monarchs, vigilante heads and major stakeholders in Ikorodu community, InsideMainland reliably gathered.

Speaking on the development, a member of the Onyabo group, told our correspondent the arrests is a step in the right direction. He stressed that the process will send the needed signal to the perpetrators of the illicit acts that they don’t have a freehand anymore in Ikorodu.
Similarly residents who spoke to InsideMainland disclosed the recent raid is a huge relief to the troubled Ikorodu community.
One of the resident, Yusuf Akinwale said “this is a good way to start. If we can all put hands together to condemn the actions of these terror gang, we will have the much needed peace in Ikorodu.
“I just pray innocent people are not part of those arrested. But if they all belong to the group, they should be made to face the consequences.
InsideMainland also learnt that white cap chiefs and other traditionalists stormed the palace of the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabir Shotobi, on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, to conduct traditional rites towards ensuring nomalcy returns to Ikorodu.
