The family of Hon. Bode Adeosun, the APC councillorship candidate for Ward C1B in Odi-Olowo/ Ojuwoye LCDA, are currently in panic following the kidnap of their daughter, Miss Bukola Adeosun in Ilupeju.
InsideMainland gathered that the teenager got missing yesterday, Tuesday, June 20, 2017, few minutes after she was sent on an errand by her mother.
Narrating the incident to Police officers attached to the Ilupeju Police Division, Hon. Bode Adeosun, said Miss Bukola Adeosun who will clock 20 next month was abducted along Shyllon Street, Ilupeju around 8:00 pm.
According to him “I wasn’t around yesterday night when my wife sent her and younger sister to a nearby street to buy something. When they got to the junction, she told her younger sister to go while she waited for her at the junction. When her younger sister went back to inform her that there is no change since she (Bukola) had the money, the sister discovered she was nowhere to be found when she got to the junction.”
Confirming that the incident was a kidnap, Hon. Adeosun told the Police that the adbuctors contacted the family earlier today, Wednesday, June, 21, 2017.
“When we returned from the Police station around 1:00 am today, someone called me with an unknown number informing me that my daughter is with them and he dropped the call instantly,” he said.
Hon. Adeosun however pleaded with the abductors to release her child so she can return to the family residence.
Meanwhile, the Police have commenced efforts towards ensuring the safe return of the teenager.
The incident is coming more than three weeks after six students were kidnapped from the Lagos Model College, Igbonla, Epe. As at press time, the school kids are yet to be found.
