The security operatives of Lagos State command have announced the arrest of 24 hoodlums in yesterday’s raid of a criminal hideout in National Stadium, Surulere Lagos. The operation which lasted for four hours followed the order of the newly appointed Assistant Inspector of Police, AIG Zone 2 command, Adamu Ibrahim.
According to PM EXPRESS, the suspected criminals used the stadium as their hideouts to rob members of the public.
During investigation, Police source said all the arrested suspects could not give satisfactory account of their missions at the National Stadium.
All the suspects were arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate Court, Lagos on two-count charge of felony, and for constituting nuisance at the National Stadium.
