Six persons were confirmed injured in separate auto accidents at Mushin axis of Lagos yesterday, Thursday, April 20, 2017.
In one of the accidents involving a yellow commercial bus popularly known as ‘danfo’, five persons were injured due to a brake failure.
According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the accident occurred around 9:00am at Cappa Road, Mushin.
During the accident, the danfo bus rammed into another oncoming vehicle damaging parts of the vehicle, leaving five passengers injured.
Similarly, an unidentified man was a victim of a hit and run accident when an oncoming vehicle ran over him few meters away from Cappa junction, Mushin.
The victim was rescued by LASEMA ERT officers after a distress call was made to the agency.
The ERT team provided emergency care to the victim with the aid of LASAMBUS officers before rushing him to a nearby hospital for urgent care.
