APC Chieftain, Pa Abiodun Sunmola passes on

Alhaji Safiriyu Abiodun Sunmola, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has passed away aged 77.

Pa Sunmola, a late Senatorial Leader of APC for the Lagos East Senatorial District passed away yesterday, Thursday, April 20, 2017, few hours after returning from a trip abroad.

Sources at his resident located on Sunmola Street, Mende-Maryland told InsideMainland that he passed on after he slumped on his way out of the airport in Lagos.

As a devout Muslim, his remains would be laid to rest according to Islamic rites today, Friday, April 21, 2017, in his hometown in Ijebu Ode.

Meanwhile, it was gathered that his corpse would be moved to Ijebu Ode where he would be buried at 3, Sundara Street, Opposite Otunba Tunashe Court, Obalende, Ijebu Ode after completion of Jumah prayers today.

Presently, party leaders and other prominent personalities are at the deceased’s residence in Mende paying their last respect.
