Residents and passerby alongFestac-Amuwo axis of Lagos were stunned when an unidentified man plunged into the lagoon in the area today, Saturday, April 8, 2017.
The incident occurred in the early hours of this morning, Per Second News reports.
While the search for the man continues, important details such as his name, age, and reason for plunging into the Lagoon are yet to be ascertained.
Per Second News reports that the body of the man is yet to be recovered until this time.
You’ll recall that cases of suicide in Lagos took another turn when late Dr. Allwell Orji became a national topic after he jumped into the lagoon at the Adeniji – Adekunle end of the Third Mainland Bridge.
Days after his body was found, four other cases of attempted suicide have been recorded. One was that of a textile dealer, Mz. Momoh who was saved by gallant RRS officers while attempting to dive into the lagoon.
