LASG turns 200 tenants to landlord

Over 200 Lagosians were turned house owners as the Commissioner for Housing, Hon  Gbolahun Lawal  gave out 200 keys to the second set of the allottee of the Governor Ambode propelled Rent –To Own- scheme at Alausa, ikeja.

The 2nd allotment ceremony of the innovative housing scheme saw a 100-unit increase in the houses allocated, as against the initial 100 units allocated at the first ceremony in February, 2017.

The 200 allocated houses are located within the Lagos State Estates at Epe, Agbowa, Igbogbo & Ojokoro area.

While speaking at the event, Hon  Lawal, revealed that  the decision to increase the houses allocated by 100 units was taken in response to the pressure of demand after the first allocation ceremony.

The Commissioner, further confirmed that the Lagos state housing estates in Sangotedo, Ajara, Igbogbo and Igando will be ready before the end of the last quarter.
