Days after InsideMainland reported the gang brawl in Mushin axis of Lagos which left one terribly injured and others with various wounds, the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have taken a bold step towards ensuring the area is rid of crime.
Earlier today, the RRS after ensuring momalcy returned to the area during the fracas on Sunday, March 26, 2017, deployed officers attached to the security agency to keep watch in the area.
The move by the RRS was due to an anticipated clash between the rival gangs which had left residents of the community in fear.
You would recall that the gang war between Alamutu and Alaka boys which continued from Sunday 26 till the early hours of Monday, March 27, 2017, led to pandemonium in Mushin community.
Similarly, the RRS officers also met with community leaders in the Amukoko axis of Lagos.
The meeting between the RRS and community leaders was as a result of a gang clash between rival factions in the community which led to uneasiness in the area.
