LASG commissions new office for Land Grabbers Task Force

In line with the vision of the Lagos State Government led by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to ensure the State is attractive for investments and peaceful for living, the government yesterday, Thursday, March 16, 2017, commissioned a permanent office for the Land Grabbers Task Force.

The office commissioning is part of the moves to ensure the smooth running and efficient service delivery of operatives of the Land Grabbers Task Force.

You would recall that the Task Force on land grabbers was created following the enactment of the Lagos State Properties Protection Law in 2016 by Governor Ambode.

The agency works alongside all security agencies to ensure it assiduously enforce the provisions of the law without fear or favour.

It was gathered that the Land Grabbers Task Force since established, has resolved about 250 cases out of the 1,200 petitions it received so far.
