Ambode orders commencement of work on Aradagun-Whispering Palms road in Badagry

Succor has come the way of Badagry residents as Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has approved the immediate commencement of work on the 17km network of roads connecting Aradagun community to Whispering Palms.

This news is coming moments after Ambode officially commissioned the newly completed Imeke-Ajido Bridge, a major link bridge in Badagry axis of the State. The bridge, which is 500metres long, and designed with sidewalk on both sides was constructed as part of measures to boost tourism and enhance movement of goods and services.

Speaking on the commence of work on the Aradagun – Whispering Palms road, Ambode who addressed a mammoth crowd of joyous residents said, “the Whispering Palms which connects this place takes the second phase and it is being approved immediately and work should commence immediately.”

“We believe strongly that before the end of June 2017, we should have a very good road to Whispering Palms which will also improve on the tourism potentials of Badagry and it will also improve the economy of this axis.”

The Governor further stressed that the delivery of the project was a promise kept and an effort aimed at making life comfortable for the people.
