Here Is What LASG Plan To Do With Danfo Buses In 2017

The Lagos State Government (LASG) has announced plans to phase out the popular yellow commercial buses known as ‘danfo’ as well as other rickety buses by the year 2017.

This announcement was made by the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode who disclosed the plans of his government to a gathering of local and international investors.

Ambode said plans are being perfected to ease out the “yellow buses from the main part of the city in order to pave way for a more modern, comfortable and affordable mode of transportation that investors can participate in.”

Speaking on the process, Ambode said the project will be funded through partnership with Ibile Holdings, an indigenous investment brand alongside other private companies that will be drafted into the programme.
