The officers of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, of the Lagos State Police Command were the lifeline of a middle aged woman who was dragged into a swamp in Ogudu by a rapist.
According to the RRS, the lady was dragged into a swamp around the Ogudu – Alapere bridge by the rapist. The gallant officers who were on routine operation prevented the incident from happening and subsequently took the lady to a hospital for treatment.
