Maximus Bar, Ikeja


Located on Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, Maximus Bar is a newly opened fun spot hub specially designed for night crawlers and fun seekers alike.  The joint which sits by the road side is few metres away from the popular Ikeja Under Bridge and it is a perfect place for fun seekers to unwind.

The elegantly styled and well furnished fun spot operates an open bar where visitors can enjoy their favourite drink while watching football. Fun seekers who also wish to stay over can lodge at the relatively cheap rooms in the facility.


The spot offers a variety of choice drinks alongsode African delicacies to the delight of guests and other visitors. Guests can have a taste of delicacies such as asun, ofada, pepper soup, grilled fish and more on offer at the hang out.

Stanley Nwaele told InsideMainland that the busiest days at Maximus Bar are Fridays through Sundays owing to the activities lined up to thrill revelers. An in – house disc jockey thrills with his turntable skills on Fridays while live music is provided on Sundays by an array of talented singers who perform regularly at the club.

Choppers Africana,  Ikeja


The Choppers Africana is situated beside the Ecobank, Ikeja branch, Lagos. The spot which is located in an open environment prides itself as one of the most visited hang outs in Ikeja and its environs due to the strategic spot it occupies.

Choppers operates a restaurant during the day and at night, is the spot where fun seekers pull over to enjoy their choice drink. The spot also allows visitors enjoy football from the large screens used in showing different football matches.

A staff of the spot, Nneka, said the spot “opens for business daily by 10:00am till the wee hours of the night”.


Visitors can also choose from a range of drinks such as cocktails, Whiskeys, spirits, cognacs, beer, and soft drinks with finger foods also readily available at very affordable rates.

The spot offers a memorable experience daily for revelers who desire to have undiluted exciting moment. It is also open from Mondays through to Sundays to cater for visitors who only unwind during the weekend after a long week at work.
