YemisiFancy’s #MyMainlandDiary: My First Time At The Maryland Mall

my mainland diary

It is another beautiful Friday and I hope my awesome readers had a fulfilling week? I had what I would call a stress free week also known as lazy week. It rained a lot this week which kept me in lazy mood I must confess.

During the course of week, I had the chance to check out the new Maryland mall to know if it will qualify as a new hang out spot for me. It’s a beautiful place I must confess. I particularly love the numerous art works in the mall.

There is a lot of space as compared to some, this I love. It is a lot bigger compared to the malls in Surulere and Lekki, which means more outlets, people, activities and fun.

I’m a little bit of a foodie, so I had to check out the food court and was glad to realize that there are so many food outlets. Here is good news for the lovers of junk and breakfast food, I discovered a place in the food court for really awesome waffles, burger and shawarma!

For the fashion lovers, there are many shopping outlets for casuals, fabrics, dresses and makeups, though a lot of them are yet to be officially open for business. I also discovered a fashion house in the mall that offers training and classes in sewing, beading of fabrics and more. Believe me, that’s the first I would see such in a mall. The only thing that I wasn’t so blown away about is the parking space. It’s not so big enough for mall of its size especially compared to the Ikeja City Mall. Aside from that, I think it’s a perfect hang out spot and it would make my list. Try to visit soon.

Its weekend again and I’m guessing it probably going to rain all weekend as we are in the raining season. Ensure to drive using your seat belt. Do not drink and drive. Have a splendid weekend. TGIF!! Thank God I’m Fancy!!
