In line with the plans of the Lagos State Government to ensure efficient planning and proper allocation of resources in the state, the State Government has renewed its call for residents to participate in the on-going registration exercise by the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency, LASSRA.
Residents are therefore enjoined to register at their respective LGAs, LCDAs or LASSRA registration Head Office located at 4, Registration Close, Off Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, Ikeja, to allow the Government generate demographic data necessary for planning and proper allocation of resources meant for the State.
Furthermore, the Lagos State Government has signed into law the N25 billion Employment Trust Fund, ETF bill, aimed at tackling the high rate of unemployment in the state. The State government has concluded plans to inject N6.25 billion into the fund yearly with a cumulative amount of N25 billion for a period of four years.
For residents to have access to the soft loans, a duly completed LASSRA registration is one of the major criteria to ensure easy access to the loans.
