See what Lagos is doing to forestall flooding in Magodo/Shangisha

In a move to stop flooding of Magodo-Shangisha, LSPWC under the directive of Lagos State Government has begun the construction of a major drainage canal to prevent flooding in the neighbourhood. In addition to the canal, a 4ft walk-way will be built around the drain to protect the people.

LSPWC revealed that the project will be completed in eight weeks and all the street drains around the neighbourhood will be cleared to ease the flow of rain water and other domestic discharge from Magodo and Shangisha environs.
