Governor Ambode has recently appointed 28-year old Gbenga Abiola as the sole administrator of Agege Local Government. This makes Abiola perhaps the youngest sole administrator in the history of Lagos politics. Young and eloquent, Abiola says that service comes naturally to him, he assured the people of Agege local government of his dedication and hardwork ; and promised to deliver on the promises of the government.
Prior to being appointed council boss, Abiola was the Special Assistant on New Media and Publicity to the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa. With his track record, he has proven to be competent and reliable, and will be the best man to handle such burden that comes with being council administrator.
Abiola graduated from the University of Lagos with his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He had his primary and secondary school education in Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Nursery and Primary school, Epe and Folbim High school respectively.
