Security will improve, Omowu-Odofin lawmaker promises Festac residents

Hon Dipo Olorunrinu, representing Amuwo Odofin Constituency 1 has promised residents of Festac and environs to work closely with security agencies to change the state of the growing menace of insecurity in the areas. The axis has been a hotbed of criminality, especially armed robbery and kidnapping in the last five months .

Hon Dipo made this known during the first ever stakeholders meeting of residents with an Amuwo Odofin representative to the Lagos State House of Assembly held in Festac on Tuesday, November 10, 2015.

The residents also called for the creation of an ultra modern mechanic village in the area.

They participant made up of artisans, market women, business owners, residents etc said development at the grassroots would majorly aid good governance and growth of democracy.

Hon. Dipo said while the duty of the Reps is make laws that will govern the state, he adds that he would work to have skill acquisition and recreational centres will be created to occupy and empower our youths just as he had already forwarded list of roads for repair to the Governor where work has since begun on some.
