Lagos State Government is set to commence the verification of Driver’s Licenses of all drivers and motorists in the State through law enforcement agents.

General Manager, Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA), Mr. Lateef Lawal, who disclosed this today at the Agency’s Headquarters in Ikeja, noted that, “it has come to the notice of the State Government that some vehicle owners in the State are driving with fake drivers’ license”.

He therefore advised drivers and vehicle owners to ensure they obtain their genuine license from the MVAA, adding that anyone who applied and has completed the processing of their driver’s license should visit the station where it was processed for immediate collection of their permanent drivers’ license.

The General Manager restated the commitment of MVAA to providing quality and efficient service in the State.
