There was pandemonium in Oworonshoki area of Lagos today Sunday, October 11, 2015 as people ran helter-skelter after an explosion occurred around 1:00pm.
The explosion which occurred along L& K Road, Inward Mayaki Oworonshoki was caused by a freezer gas compressor in a beer parlour triggered by power surge.
The explosion was said to have blown off the roof of the beer parlour, it also led to a partial collapse of a nearby hotel. Some of the roofing sheets of the beer parlour landed on the victims’ heads.
It was gathered that at least four persons including a little girl sustained injuries in the gas explosion.
