There was commotion yesterday July 11, 2015 at Ishaga road Idi-Araba when an official of LASTMA slumped in the cause of controlling traffic.

The heavy traffic which was as a result of an event at the Chapel of the Healing Cross, Idi-Araba prompted heavy deployment of both LASTMA and other security personnel.

The official, who was busy with the heavy traffic situation around 1.30pm, under the scorching sun, suddenly fell down and began to gasp for breath.

The security personnel around the area, his colleagues and bystanders rushed to pull him off the road and made frantic efforts to resuscitate him. Some of the LASTMA officials were seen pounding his chest, while others poured water on him.
