Motorists and other commuters who ply the usually busy Ikorodu road are advised to use alternative routes as there is presently a heavy gridlock along the Ojuelegba axis of the expressway.
InsideMainland learnt that a truck container fell on Dorman Long Bridge inward Ojuelegba from Fadeyi leading to a heavy gridlock in the axis.
Also, another trailer broke down just before the bridge leading to a traffic diversion in the axis by traffic officials. This has however led to areas such as Funso Williams Avenue, Fadeyi, Jibowu and more blocked.
As a result, the traffic officers have enforced a diversion for motorists from Ojuelegba inward Moshalashi through Jibowu to link Fadeyi.
See comments from motorists caught in the gridlock below.
If what you need to do around Costain to Ojuelegba further down Ikorodu Road isn’t important please don’t leave. The traffic is GANGSTER.

I don’t understand why FRSc think it’s okay to block the bridge after ojuelegba. Causing a serious mess of traffic
