UPDATE: Abducted daughter of Odi Olowo APC councillorship candidate regains freedom

Report reaching us at InsideMainland has it that Miss Bukola Adeosun, the daughter of All Progressives Congress (APC) councillorship candidate in Ward C1B of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Bode Adeosun, has regained her freedom.

According to a report by Nation, the teenager who was abducted on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 around 8:00pm, was dumped by her abductors around midnight on Friday, June 23, 2017 on Damegoro Street in Mushin.

She is said to have been found unconscious after her release as she was blindfolded with her hands and legs tied up.

Miss Bukola’s release came amid speculations that the father had transmitted a letter of withdrawal from the councillorship race to the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), a condition given by the kidnappers to release the daughter. InsideMainland cannot independently verify this claim

A source who confirmed the development to Nation said the teenager is currently in an undisclosed hospital.

You will recall that on June 20 2017, Miss Bukola was out running an errand with her sister when she was abducted by some gunmen riding in a black Toyota car. The kidnappers ordered her into their vehicle at gunpoint and drove off with her.
